I know a lot of people who don’t give Radiohead a chance because they are deemed ‘boring’ or ‘depressing’, I even used to hold this opinion myself.
But after listening to this album, released in 1994, I became a big Radiohead fan and love the sound of Thom Yorke, his band and his lyrics.
This album gave me a sense of great music, and something that is unique.
My favourite tracks are ‘Street Spirit (Fade Out)’ and (Nice Dream) and I liked all of the tracks on the album although I feel you have to be in a certain mood to listen to this album, as it probably won’t leave you feeling the happiest you ever have.
Despite this, the album definitely can not be described as boring, in fact I would say Radiohead are one of the least boring bands I have ever heard and really enjoy the interesting sound of their music. Anybody who appreciates music should listen to this album.
